We do! Therefore, our well-intentioned advice is to opt for a frameless custom-made glass shower, which is easy to maintain and significantly more hygienic than standard products.

If you only compare the purchase costs, the partially framed or fully framed shower enclosure naturally has its advantages over frameless custom-made products. In the long term, however, things look different. The lifespan of a frame shower is significantly shorter than an easy-care glass shower, as these standard solutions use aluminum compensation profiles.

When dismantling these frame profiles, dirt comes to light which shocks the owners every time. Here, for example, minerals from the water, shampoo residues with skin flakes and some microorganisms collect in a warm and humid environment. You can see the result in the photos, which were all taken in otherwise clean and well-kept households. Promised!

Although a frameless shower enclosure is more expensive to buy, it is cheaper over the lifetime.

If your budget is no longer sufficient for a frameless shower enclosure, we recommend using a shower curtain as a temporary solution if possible.

Of course, it can happen that at the end of the construction or renovation phase, the budget is used up and the frameless glass shower can therefore no longer be realized. OK, but then please use a curtain as a temporary solution, which can be cleaned at least and disposed of after a year when the budget has been saved again.
